Today we had the morning designated as a rest day. Knowing that we would be out late last night, we planned ahead to sleep in – well as much as people traveling with a 2 and 3 year old can sleep in. Luckily, the kids were tired, too – and they slept in with us.
We just hung around the house after waking up. Then Jake and Laura went to Epcot, and we watched the Lion King with the boys and got things straightened up a bit around the house. Vavo and Vavu went to WalMart to do a bit of shopping.
After naps, we met up with Jake and Laura at Epcot. We toured the newly renovated Seas Pavilion, now called “The Seas with Nemo and Friends”. We rode the new ride to enter the Pavilion, then exited into an interactive area, where we saw fish in aquariums, took a “quiz” about sea life, played in the Shark area, and attended “Turtle Talk with Crush”.

After we were done in The Seas, we were pretty hungry, so we walked over to the Mexico Pavilion where we had priority seating arrangements at the San Angel Inn. We were early for our scheduled meal time, but they told us we’d only have a 10 minute wait, so we decided to go ahead and eat early.
We had a great view of the pyramid and water ride from our table. We could also see the volcano in the background smoking and flowing lava down the side. Our meal was good, and the atmosphere was great! Aiden was very excited to go on the boat ride that he could see passing by our table. He kept asking to go on it, and Maria told him that we could go after everyone was done eating. Since Andrew was the last person still eating, Aiden offered to “help” his Daddy eat. He walked over to Andrew and his plate, and started scooping food to put in Andrew’s mouth. It was so funny watching Aiden feed Andrew!
After dinner, we went straight over to the boat ride for Aiden. We all really enjoyed this ride, which was recently renovated and updated to include the Three Caballeros.

By the time we were done in the Mexico Pavilion, it was almost time for the Illuminations fireworks show on the Lagoon. We began looking for a spot with a good view to camp out at. We found a pretty good spot with only a couple of people in front of us, right near the walkway from Future World into the World Showcase.
Illuminations was spectacular as usual. The fireworks are astounding, and there was some major fire going on!

Jeremy and Jake watching Illuminations (it got a little too loud for Jeremy part way in, and Andrew had to take him out of the immediate area)
By the time Illuminations was done, the park was closing. We all went back to our cars, and headed back for home. About 5 minutes into our drive home, we got a call from Jake and Laura, who were standing outside their car back in the parking lot. Oops! We had put their bag in our stroller, and it had their car keys in it! Back we went to the Epcot parking lots – Section “Create”, Row 40. And there they were, waiting for us, hanging out in an abandoned wheelchair that someone had left in the parking lot.
When we got home, it was almost time for Uncle Robert’s arrival. He drove up today after work to visit with us. He brought lots of photos from his travels in Europe and also from when Andrew and the sibs were kids (hey sibs – do you like how I’m calling you “the sibs” now?). It was fun to look at his collection.
Tomorrow is a busy day. We head out early in the morning for Disney MGM Studios. Time to sign off!

The best part of day 15 was Illuminations, seeing Uncle Robert, checking out the new Nemo ride.
The worst part of day 15 was the guy standing in front of us at Illuminations who kept moving around and obstructing the view, the mass exit at the end of Illuminations.
What we learned on day 15 was if you have someone take your bag back to the house for you, make sure you take your car keys out first. Humans live in one big human tank, according to Crush the Turtle. Aiden really likes boat rides.
The weather on day 15 was humid, warm.
Our character sightings on day 15 included could it possibly be none?
The crowd level today was reasonable.
