Today we went over to Uncle Tim’s for breakfast, then went to Mass at his church, St. Therese. After church, we went to a shopping area called “Legends”, where we wanted to finish up our Christmas shopping. Today, “we” includes: Vavu, Vavo, Andrew, Maria, Aiden, Jeremy, Madison, Tim, Heather, Peter, Nai, Angie.

Our first stop was TRex Cafe, where we ate lunch. This restaurant is similar to Rainforest Cafe, but with a dinosaur theme. It’s really well done. They have “meteor showers” every once in a while. There’s fire and animatronic dinosaurs. The area we ate in was the ocean area. There was a huge aquarium, and our table was under a giant jellyfish. Some other eating areas included the “fern room”, and an ice age area, where there was “ice” for walls. It was cool, because the ice room had a T-Rex head stuck in the ice. They have a Build-a-Bear Workshop there, but you build dinosaurs instead. Lunch was good. And gigantic. Dinosaur portions.

After lunch, we split up to go shopping. The stores were nice. There was lots to choose from. It was kind of like the Folsom outlets, but bigger, and with a bowling alley, movie theatre and more restaurants.
The kids were tired so they took a nap in the van with Vavo. When we finished shopping, we all managed to meet back up and head out to Tim’s house. It was amazing that we could actually get such a large group back together to leave.
We came back to Tim’s and hung out for a while. We ordered pizza from Northern Lights for dinner, and got ready to go back to the hotel because we want to take off kinda early tomorrow.

The best part of day 42 was TRex Cafe.
The worst part of day 42 was walking around in the snow.
What we learned on day 42 was Jeremy likes to spontaneously break out into song. His current playlist includes Jingle Bells, Small World, Shrek’s Duloch is a perfect place, Willy Wonka’s Oompa Loompa song and Spiderman.
We came back to Tim’s and hung out for a while. We ordered pizza from Northern Lights for dinner, and got ready to go back to the hotel because we want to take off kinda early tomorrow.
